Howard Adam Levy | Principal
Howard is an industry-recognized brand strategist specializing in nonprofit organizations. Throughout a 20-year career devoted to helping nonprofits improve their marketing, Howard has helped countless organizations launch new branding programs, gain visibility, increase membership, promote fundraising events and increase donations. His award-winning designs include branding programs, publications, and promotional campaigns for fundraising events. Clients have included the ACLU, Environmental Defense Fund, and National Parkinson Foundation.
Howard is called on as a public speaker at the top nonprofit venues including the Foundation Center, the Support Center for Nonprofit Management, the United Way of Westchester, the National Council of Nonprofits as well as Fundraising Conferences.
Howard is deeply engaged in the nonprofit community. His leadership roles have included serving as President of The Executive Forum, Marketing Chair for Governance Matters, Membership Chair for SPARK, and Design Director for the J2J Network and Judge for the Baruch College Business Plan Competition.
As a member of the Executive Committee for Hazon, the largest Jewish environmental organization in the United States, he improved their fundraising results and was named Hazon’s Person of the Year. As a member of the UJA-Federation’s Management Assistance Program and Pro Bono, Inc., he has helped organizations to launch new initiatives and promote programs.
He is a staunch supporter of the nonprofit sector, providing consulting and services to the Center for Non-Profits in New Jersey and the Connecticut Association of Nonprofits. He has written articles for Board Source magazine, GuideStar.org and is a regular contributor to Nonprofit Advantage magazine. Howard co-produces Ask the Experts events, and in 2010, he launched Nonprofit Brand It!, the premiere source for news on nonprofit brand, listed as All Top website.
Greg Miller | Director of Public Relations
A master at crafting the right stories for clients and leveraging media, Greg heads Red Rooster Group’s publc relations services. He brings robust experience with a national roster of clients in financial services, professional services and business services. Earlier, he served as a senior account executive at major New York PR agencies including Robinson Lerer & Montgomery and GCI Group, where he helped create the firm’s corporate and financial practice. Greg’s experience as a business journalist, sharpened his insights into the value of the media in advancing a company’s larger strategic positioning. His experience with nonprofits includes helping the Junior League to update its image and tell about the compelling new work they are doing.
Julia Reich | Creative Director
Julia oversees the Red Rooster Group’s creative studio on a variety of nonprofit brand innovation projects. She has a strong design, business and leadership background having been in several senior design director roles, and for the past ten years as Principal of Julia Reich Design. During her career she has participated in NY Designs, a unique design business incubator; was winner of the 2009 Small Business Award from the Cayuga County NY Chamber of Commerce; and has been featured in several design books including Graphic Recycling and The Big Book of Green Design.
She is a former environmental educator, and got her start in graphic design as design director for EarthPledge Foundation, a New York City-based nonprofit promoting sustainable practices. In addition, Julia is a writer, blogger and public speaker on issues ranging from local food to nonprofit branding. She is committed to community service, with leadership positions in many organizations. Julia holds degrees from Pratt Institute and Hampshire College.
Andy Schulkind | Director of Technology
Andy brings 18 years experience developing websites and other digital marketing for nonprofits and corporations. He provides a communications strategy perspective for technology solutions and has created and produced sales presentations, marketing materials, training modules and educational applications for corporate clients, educational organizations and various nonprofit organizations. His personal and professional experience with local and national nonprofits includes creating websites for nonprofit organizations as well as sitting on the board of the Rhinebeck Science Foundation. Andrew graduated with a B.A. in Philosophy from Bucknell University.
Dan Silverstone | Art Director
Dan is responsible for art direction and graphic development of advertising concepts and direct marketing programs. He has held senior creative positions at several internationally recognized firms including: Bozell Worldwide, Grey Advertising, Gilliatt & Campbell, Grybauskas & Partners and the Ziff-Davis Publishing Company. In his twenty plus years of experience in advertising and design, Dan’s work has been exhibited at the One Show, the Art Director’s Club 60th Annual Exhibition, and the Newspaper Publishers Award For Excellence. In addition, his design work was selected to appear in The Basics of Graphic Design by Professor Robert C. Smith of Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. Dan holds a BFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York.
Susannah Hainley | Graphic Designer
Susannah Hainley is the lead graphic designer at Red Rooster Group, where she exercises her passion for creating exciting and meaningful design that will positively impact companies and communities nationwide. Her interest in using design as a tool for change began in 2007 when she collaborated with several other designers on a branding and print collateral project for an Illinois-based CSA farm organization called Angelic Organics. For the past 5 years, Susannah has worked with a range of small businesses and health and wellness companies who share her commitment to creating design that is engaging, impactful, and, when possible, environmentally friendly. Susannah graduated from DePaul University with a BA in Art & Architecture and a concentration in graphic design.STRATEGIC PARTNERS
