Howard Adam Levy | Principal, Red Rooster Group
For the past two decades, Howard has been nonprofits improve their marketing. He has helped countless organizations launch new branding programs, gain visibility, increase membership, promote fundraising events and increase donations. His firm specializes in integrated campaigns that leverage the best of strategy, message and design through print and online media. His award-winning designs include branding programs, promotional campaigns for fundraising events and publications.
Howard is deeply engaged in the nonprofit community on many levels. He is co-producer of Advice-Link events for nonprofits, speaks at industry events such as the NJ Fundraising Conference and writes a blog on nonprofit issues called Wake Up Call. Other nonprofit roles have included serving as the Marketing Chair for Governance Matters, and on the Executive Committee for Hazon, a Jewish environmental organization, for which he was named Hazon’s Person of the Year for his fundraising efforts. His most recent initiative is the Nonprofit Brand Institute dedicated to helping nonprofits harness the power of branding to improve their fundraising.
Susan Caruso Green | President, Nonprofit Central
Susan Caruso Green has been active in the fields of corporate philanthropy and nonprofit organization fundraising for over 25 years. As the President of the Resource Development Network, she currently directs a team that specializes in strategic fundraising plans and grant proposals for nonprofits in New York and New Jersey. Sue also serves as Community Investment Manager for the United Way of Passaic County, managing their grantmaking program since 2005.
To tap into a broad network of consultants for the company’s clients, Sue established an online directory of consultants to nonprofit organizations in NY and NJ called Nonprofit Central NY/NJ. This online community connects leaders of nonprofits in the tri-state area with consultants who have publicly-displayed references.
She has served on the Boards of Directors of organizations in New York City and New Jersey, most notably, the Arts and Business Council and the Corporate Advisory Board of the (former) United Way of Tri-State. Sue is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, the Foundation Center’s Fund Raising Consultants Network, New York Technical Assistance Providers, Governance Matters, the NY Nonprofit Consultants Group and the NonProfit Consultants Collaborative and is President of the Cranford Fund For Educational Excellence.
